PBA PLAYERS' ORIENTATION SET TUESDAY

PBA commissioner Sonny Barrios will spell out to rookies, sophomores and juniors Tuesday, among others, the league’s norms of conduct during the annual Players Orientation session at Ali Mall Cinema 4.

Presented by Coca-Cola, the event will also have as resource speakers former Shell team manager and governor Bobby Kanapi, Araneta Center’s Sienna Olazo, and Sabrina Ildefonso, wife of San Miguel Beer center Danny Ildefonso.

The session begins at 2 p.m., with PBA players who have attended previous meetings on at least three occasions no longer required to be in attendance.

Focus will be on what the newcomers should expect in the pros, how they should handle themselves on and off the court, and their responsibilities to their ballclubs, the league, and the fans.

Ildefonso’s wife, a successful entrepreneur, will discuss business opportunities and offer suggestions on how players should handle their finances.
