SATU downs San Pedro Precinct, 68-59

Special Anti-Terrorist Unit downed the San Pedro Precinct, 68-59 for its third win in four outings in the 2007 DCPO Inter-Unit Basketball Tournament, Tuesday, at the Davao City Police Office covered court.

San Pedro dropped to its second loss in three starts.

In the other games presented by Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, Sasa Precinct stopped the Mobile Patrol Group, 48-39 to improve to 3-2 win-loss card while the MPG suffered its first win in three games.

The DCPO Headquarters finally tasted its first win in three games by trouncing winless Buhangin Precinct (0-5), 55-41 while Talomo Precinct cruised to its third straight victory at the expense of Sta.Ana Precinct (1-3), 75-45. Traffic Group remained unbeaten with five wins after beating Marilog Precinct (0-2), 64-47.

City Sports Coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go said games will resume on Thursday, December 6, featuring San Pedro against Sasa at 9:30 a.m., Buhangin against MPG at 11 a.m. and Toril/Tugbok against Marilog at 1 p.m., Bunawan vs. Calinan/Baguio at 2:30 p.m.
