Bugacia topscores for 10th ID's 89-71 win over BJMP

Ramuel Bugacia topscored with 25 points to lead the 10th Infantry Division past the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, 89-71 in the 5th RRD-AFP/PNP Basketball Tournament, Sunday, at the Davao City Recreation Center.

10th ID leveled its win-loss count to 2-2 and handed Bureau of Jail its fourth straight setback.
In the other games presented by Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, the Davao City Police Office relied on the 17 points, apiece production from Ireneo Dalogdog and Ronald Lao en route to their third win in four games at the expense of Task Force Davao which absorbed its third straight loss.

Police Regional Office XI banked on Joswe Torregosa again who responded with 22 baskets in their 96-85 conquest over the 28th Infantry Battalion. Dennis Barrete led the losing side with 22 points.

Games will resume on Wednesday, according to City Sports Coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go, featuring Bureau of Jail against the Navy at 4 p.m., Air Force against the PRO XI at 5:30 p.m. and Regional Mobile Group against DCPO in the main game at 7 p.m.
