PRO XI edges CMO, 86-85 on Saturday night, 3 games set on Sunday afternoon

PO1 Joswe Torregosa scored the winning basket to lead the Police Regional Office XI in edging the City Mayor's Office, 86-85 in the 5th RRD-AFP/PNP Basketball Tournament, Saturday night, at the Davao City Recreation Center.

Chief Inspector Rolly AlbaƱa was also scorching hot from the three-point area to deliver the first loss of Christopher “Bong” Go and the CMO five after five games.

PRO XI remained unbeaten with three victories at the expense of the Navy, 103-68 last November 18, over Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, 89-85 last November 28.
In the other games, the 28th Infantry Battalion shot down the Air Force, 111-83 for its third straight victory and the Airmen's third setback in four outings.

The 22nd Company licked its first win in four starts by trouncing the National Support Unit, 97-93. NSU absorbed its third loss in four games.

Games will resume on Sunday afternoon featuring Task Force Davao against DC Police Office at 1 p.m., 10th Infantry Division against Bureau of Jail at 2:30 p.m. and PRO XI against 28th Infantry Battalion.
