Orange Generation resumes Dec. 5 at Emcor

FIVE games will be played this Saturday, December 5 as the Orange Generation Cup basketball tournament resumes hostilites at the Emcor Sports Center according to tournament director Rael Diaz.

Brokenshire College of Davao seeks its second straight win in the Senior Division as it collides against the University of Southeastern Philippines in the main game at 4 p.m. The squad of Coach Arnulfo Rojas earlier crushed Philippine Women’s College, 80-69 last Sunday as Richie Andales topscored with 18 points, while Christian Joy Edralin and Michael Llanos both chipped in 12 points.

USEP bowed to UIC, 59-95 last Sunday. Brokenshire will also go for its second straight victory in the Junior division when it faces Assumption College of Davao at 1 p.m. Brokenshire made an impressive debut by routing the Immanuel School of Davao, 85-49 last Saturday at the Woodridge gym.

Philippine Women’s College will also eye for its second win as it takes on the Southern Philippines Baptist Theological Seminary in the first game at 9 a.m. in the Cadet division. The other games pit Davao Jones Academy against Assumption Cadet at 10:30 a.m. and Thompson Christian School versus Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School at 2:30 p.m. in the Junior division.

The four-divisional league is organized by the Evangelista Aquatic and Sports Management Inc. in coordination with the Multi-sectoral Organization of Volunteer Entrepreneurs (MOVE).(pr)
