Traffic Group trounces Baguio/Calinan Precincts, 72-60 in DCPO Inter-Unit Tournament

Traffic Group rallied in the fourth quarter to score a come-from-behind victory over the Baguio/Calinan Precincts, 72-60 at the start of the 2007 DCPO Inter-Unit Basketball Tournament, Wednesday afternoon, at the Davao City Police Office court.

The Traffic Group dribblers engaged Baguio/Calinan Precincts in a see-saw battle but a better defense employed in the final canto ensured them victory.

Duterte said that the annual tournament is a goodwill competition and told the personnel to play clean and fairly.

Games will resume on Thursday, November 22, featuring Mobile Patrol Group against the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit at 1 p.m., Toril/Tugbok Precintcs vs. Bunawan/Paquibato Precincts at 2:30 p.m. and Buhangin Precinct vs. Sasa Precinct at 4 p.m.
