THE 2010 Tropang Growee Basketball Camp and 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament will have a simultaneous nationwide opening on Feb. 6, Saturday in Manila, Cebu and Davao according to Darren Evangelista, president and CEO of the organizing Evangelista Aquatics and Sports Management Inc.
Manila will be held in Tondo under former NCAA cager-turned RP men’s water polo team member Dale Evangelista, while Cebu will start at the Mambaling Sports Complex in Cebu City. Coordinator of the Visayas edition is Rey Canete.
Davao City will hold its initial leg at the Sto Rosario Gym in Buhangin under Coach Rael Diaz.
Registration is free and qualified to join are children from ages 8 to 12 years old only.
Only the first 100 registrants will be accepted on a first come, first serve basis from Feb. 1 to 5. Deadline of submission is on Feb. 5 at 4 p.m. Late entry form will not be entertained. Participants are required to wear the proper basketball attire.
The checking of attendance will start at 7 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on Feb. 6. Late players are no longer allowed to participate the camp. The camp, which will teach the basic fundamentals of basketball, will end at 11 a.m. while the 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Only those participants of the camp can join the tournament. The winners will receive Growee gift packs and giveaways.

(Cebu) - Feb. 7 at Pardo Sports Complex; Feb. 13 at Talisay Sports Complex, Talisay City; Feb. 14 at Lahug Sports Complex; Feb. 20 at Mandaue Sports Complex, Mandaue City; Feb. 21 Lapu – Lapu Sports Complex.
(Davao) Feb. 13 at Brgy. Panacan Gym, Feb. 14 at Landmark 3 Gym, Sasa, Feb. 21 at Brgy. R. Castillo Gym, Agdao, Mar. 6 at Brgy. Cabantian Gym, March 7 at Purok 8 Gym, Brgy. Tigatto.
