The Legislators bounced back and defeated the Executives, 98-79 to level the series to 2-2 in Season 14 of the Executive-Legislative Basketball Tournament, recently at the Davao City Recreation Center.
The Legislators, led by Councilors Diosdado Mahipus and Dante Apostol, grabbed the early lead and maintained the upperhand all the way to beat the undermanned Executive squad.
City Sports Coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go shrugged off a lousy start but the tight December schedule hampered his performance by drilling in only 24 points.
The Legislators controlled the boards and padded their lead by outscoring the Executives in all four quarters.
