The Holiday Basketball League (HBL) Open gets going on February 16 to 17 and 23 to 24 at the Holiday Gym and Spa's newly-built basketball court.
Ivy Fernandez, HGS Chief Operating Officer, said that there will be three age-groups for the tournament.
All basketball enthusiasts are invited to compete in the 16 to 21 years old, 22 to 27 years old and 28 and above categories.
On Thursday's Davao Sportswriters Association (DSA) Forum at the Tower Inn, Fernandez said that they are expecting 10 teams per bracket to join.
Gym Supervisor Mark Norman "Cocoy" Malbog said that they will make the necessary adjustments in case there will be more teams competing.
The three versus three cagefest offers prizes to the winners.
