IBP Lavender tastes first win, City continues win run
IBP Lavender stopped the DCPO Officers Group,111-97 and handed its rivals its third loss in five games while Bong Go, who scattered 45 points, and the City dribblers beat Panabo Hall of Justice, 111-98 for their fifth straight victory.
After a slow start in the first quarter with only eight points, Go went to a shooting spree, tallying in double figures from second (10 points), third (14 points) and fourth (13 points) quarters. Panabo dropped to a 1-5 win-loss slate.
IBP White, on the other hand, escaped with an 83-81 triumph over COMELEC Region XI to tally its fifth win in six games and the Election cagers leveled their count to 3-3 win-loss card.
IBP Orange shut down ABS-CBN Davao, 84-78 for its fourth win against two losses while the Shrine Hills-based dribblers absorbed their fifth loss in seven outings.

Sasa, Talomo Precincts face foes in DCPO semis
Sasa Precinct plays the Traffic Group at 1 p.m. while Talomo Precinct meets the City Mobile Group at 2:30 p.m.
The winners will advance to the finals on Sunday, December 16, at 2:30 p.m. while the losers will square it off for the third spot at 1 p.m.
City Sports Coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go said that prizes are up for grabs to the winners of the tournament presented by Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and sanctioned by BAP-SBP Regional Director Regino "Boy" Cua.

SATU downs San Pedro Precinct, 68-59
San Pedro dropped to its second loss in three starts.
In the other games presented by Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, Sasa Precinct stopped the Mobile Patrol Group, 48-39 to improve to 3-2 win-loss card while the MPG suffered its first win in three games.
The DCPO Headquarters finally tasted its first win in three games by trouncing winless Buhangin Precinct (0-5), 55-41 while Talomo Precinct cruised to its third straight victory at the expense of Sta.Ana Precinct (1-3), 75-45. Traffic Group remained unbeaten with five wins after beating Marilog Precinct (0-2), 64-47.

Sasa Precinct defeats Buhangin Precinct, 57-45
Sasa Precinct overcame a sluggish start to defeat Buhangin Precinct, 57-45 in the DCPO Inter-Unit Basketball Tournament, Thursday afternoon, at the Davao City Police Office covered court.
The Sasa authorities could not find the range they needed but eventually found the chemistry at start of the third quarter and posted a 10-point lead, 45-35, four minutes remaining.
The Buhangin-based policemen tried to stage a comeback but Sasa played better by coming up with better plays at the paint.
In the other games, Bunawan/Paquibato Precincts trounced Toril/Tugbok Precincts, 58-43 while Mobile Patrol Group downed the Special Anti-Terrorist Unit, 53-45.
The games, presented by Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, will resume on Tuesday, according to City Sports Coordinator Christopher "Bong" Go.
