The Commissioner’s Office yesterday sanctioned San Miguel forwards Danny Ildefonso and Marc Pingris for their involvement in an altercation with a spectator immediately after Game 2 of the Motolite PBA Fiesta Conference Finals Friday at the Araneta Coliseum.
Ildefonso, who first charged at the fan, was suspended for one game and fined P30,000 while Pingris, who came to Ildefonso’s aid, was suspended for one game and fined P10,000.
During their conference with commissioner Sonny Barrios at the PBA Office, Ildefonso and Pingris were profuse in apologizing to the PBA, to the viewers and the fans. The two also wanted to personally apologize to the fan for their acts and behavior.
