De Guzman sinks winning three-point shot in Game 3

Jilliard de Guzman buried the winning three-point shot in the dying seconds to lift the Legislators over the Executives, 91-90 in Game 3 of the Executive-Legislative Basketball Tournament-15^th Season, Friday night, at the Davao City Recreation Center.

The Legislators enjoyed a comfortable lead, 48-34 at the end of the first half but the Executives came back strong at the start of the as City Sports Coordinator Christopher “Bong” Go pumped in five three-pointers and teammate Melchor Gadiano adding 13 points.

De Guzman, however, found daylight to give the Legislators their first win in three games.

The Executives won Game 1, 102-94 with Go hitting 37 points, eight of which were three-pointers, and followed up the victory in Game 2, 101-84.
